Hertz is an American car rental company based in Estero, Florida and operates 10,200 corporate and franchise locations internationally. For over 90 years, Hertz's services range from car sales, moving trucks, car leases, and entertainment.

Challenge

Hertz Corporation, which includes Thrifty and Dollar, is one of the largest airport car rental companies in the world. It has 9,700 franchise locations and a big message: Car rentals aren’t just for getting from point A to point B. They’re also the key to adventure, discovery, and excitement. When the Hertz team wanted to tell that story on a global scale and turn their Instagram feed into a source of road trip inspiration, they turned to Snapwire.

Hertz‘s team planned and launched a series of briefs based around themes like “Travel Ideas & Inspiration,” “Reasons to Travel,” and “Hidden Gems.” Snapwire’s creator network quickly shot and submitted their best work to the brief. 

Snapwire’s platform then sorted and organized the best submissions. Hertz’s team purchased the best ones to use on their Instagram feed, to inspire followers to pack up and head on a road trip. The photos increased Hertz’s Instagram engagement 300%.
